Herbed Almond Garlic Pesto
This super easy pesto gets kicked up a notch by using our famous Kuhlman Cellars Herbed Almonds!
Directions
Blend garlic cloves in a food processor fitted with a metal blade until finely minced. Turn off the processor and add the almonds, cheese, basil, and parsley. Pulse until finely minced.
Set the processor to blend. While the processor is running, add the oil in a steady stream through the top opening. Process until incorporated. Season with salt and pepper to taste. For a spicy pesto, add 1/2 tsp cayenne pepper and 1 tsp sugar to the mixture. Blend until well incorporated.
Ingredients
5 cloves garlic, peeled
1/2 cup Kuhlman Cellars Herbed Almonds
2 1/2 cups basil (about 3 oz)
1/4 cup parsley
3/4 cup grated parmesan
1/2 tsp salt
3/4 cup olive oil
For a spicier pesto, add:
1/2 tsp cayenne pepper
1 tsp sugar
